Role Summary We are hiring a dedicated developer to extend and enhance our ERP system which is EFACS by Exel. This role focuses on custom EFACS development, advanced SQL-based reporting, and business-driven system extensions as well as enhancing data utilisation through the creation of Power BI reports.

 

What You Will Actually Do

• Build custom EFACS functionality (screens, buttons, workflows, form logic)

• Develop and maintain BIRT reports using complex SQL datasets and JavaScript

• Write and optimise SQL Server queries for reporting and operational use

• Extend EFACS without modifying core vendor code

• Diagnose data and logic issues in a live ERP environment

• Build and maintain Power BI reports which communicate the performance of various aspects of the business

• Work directly with the IT Manager and business users to deliver practical improvements

 

Essential Requirements

• Strong SQL Server skills (multi-table joins, aggregation, CTEs, performance-aware reporting queries)

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing or engineering environment

• Ability to work within vendor-controlled platforms and existing schemas

• Experience building or maintaining ERP reports using tools like BIRT

• Java / JavaScript experience in reporting or scripting contexts

• Comfort supporting business-critical systems with real operational impact
